What are your rates?
My minimum is 200.
I am currently charging 600 for a half-day session of 4 hours. Typically my hourly charge is 175/hour.
I can work with your budget as specified in your booking form and will provide a quote that is reasonable for both of us!
How does the deposit work?
Your deposit is used to reserve your appointment and allows me to dedicate time toward designing your tattoo. I accept a $200 deposit via Venmo (@kiya-gloriani) but this amount may vary depending on the complexity of the design. Deposits are non-refundable and will be counted toward the total cost of your tattoo on your last session.
Rescheduling less than a week in advance will result in a forfeit of the deposit and a $60 rescheduling fee will be required. A full deposit will be required for any rescheduling done within 24 hours of your appointment.
How do you accept payment?
Cash is preferred & I also accept Venmo with a 5% charge for digital payments for business fees. I can provide a quote so that you will know what to expect.
What can I expect during a consultation?
If you would like to have a consultation, this is our time to get to know one another and for you to get a feel of the shop. We will discuss in depth your vision for the design of your tattoo including placement, size, and style. Please bring any new reference pictures or changes that have not been included in your booking form. Depending on your tattoo idea I may draw on you or take a photo of the area and create a draft on my ipad for reference. Consultations can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes. In order to book an appointment after your consultation, a deposit is required.
Can I see the design?
Typically I do not send drafts of the tattoo design beforehand. The consultation time is used to get as much detail for your request and make sure that we are one the same page. Expect to see the design in the shop on the day of your appointment and any changes can be made at that time.
Why are tattoos expensive?
It is often difficult for artists to assign a monetary value for their work, but think of buying tattoos like purchasing a work of art from a museum except it is custom made for you to wear for life. I wouldn’t expect to pay less for a tattoo than you would for a nice pair of shoes/manicure/handbag or other luxuries. Tattoos are a handmade investment from start to finish made by someone who has trained for years to hone the quality of their work. Each tattoo requires time and energy, no matter how simple it may be.
Additionally, most tattoo artists are independent workers so a large portion of their income goes to business expenses like paying shop rent, taxes & buying their own supplies.

What if I can’t afford it right now?
That’s okay! If quality is important to me, I would rather wait and save up for it rather than shop around for the cheapest option.
Start a Tattoo Fund that you can put money into every month until it adds up.
I can do payment arrangements, for example, if the tattoo will cost 600- I can take a 200 deposit up front, then split the rest into 2 session payments of 200 to break it up.
